Olympus DSLR Support

Dragon Stop Motion is the only stop motion software to directly integrate with Olympus DSLRs.

Olympus DSLR integration is for Windows only. To use Olympus DSLRs with Mac OS X, you can use Dragon Stop Motion's folder watching capabilities with the Olympus Studio 2 remote capture application. You could also ask Olympus to provide an SDK for Mac OS X.

The supported Olympus cameras have live view via analog video output. You can use this within Dragon Stop Motion if you get an A/D converter.

Many of the Olympus cameras do not let you manually focus them when they are connected to a computer. We suggest that you ask Olympus to update firmware for your camera to support manual focus.
