The Dragon Electronic Shutter Control takes camera step and pulse signals from a motion control system and uses them to trigger a digital still camera. The DESC is a piece of hardware that you can purchase directly from our site. There are three different reasons you might use this integration:

1. You prefer to control the shooting from your motion control system.
2. You need exact timing of the motion control move and the camera shutter release. For example, maybe you are doing go-motion.
3. You need exact timing of both the open and close of the shutter. For example, if you are doing special effects sequences at different speeds.
